OCR: estimates the total number of segments based on the number of used source allocation blocks and the amount of free space on the intermediate volume However, prior to actually reading and computing checksums on all source allocation blocks, Copy Thru does not know which blocks have changed and which haven CopyThru therefore assumealthred allocation blocks have changed. As CopyThru skips over unchanged blocks the number of passes and the appearance of the progress bar are updated. Sure it's strange but would you rather that CopyThru spend an extra 10 minutes determining how to draw static progress bar?
